Where Bloggers Create 2012

Hi welcome to my craftsroom.  I love having visitors.
I decided that either I could craft or cook.  Cooking wasn't as  much fun as crafting since my husband is a very pickie eater.  So he has to take me out if he wants to eat. Just think no dishes either.  In my dreams.  We live in a home where it used to be a duplex.  So we have two kitchens.  One became my craftroom.   I have no where to sit but standing is good.  Lots of counter space and cutting board.
I throw a tablecloth over the washer and dryer when I am taking pictures to show case on my site.

This is all my stampin up ink pads and Martha Stewart glitter.  I took an old metal screw and washer cabnet and use it for tool's, beads, eyelets, brads and extra cut outs.

This is where all my cricut cartridges are kept.  Top shelf is for the imagine cartridge's and nestabilities.  Middle shelf is for the cartridge's for the expression. and the bottom shelf is for my stampin up punches.

Bottom shelf is for all my other punches.  Middle shelf is for all the craft magizines and templates.  Top shelf is for my gyspy.

The above picture is my stampin up stamps and the side picture is the rollers.  And below is home to my expression and Cricut Cake machines.  Top shelf is a few of my trimmer's.  I am searching for the perfect one.

In the corner I have my embossing powders, glitter pens and tool's.  Below is how I keep track of the pattern paper on my cricut cartridges.

My sewing machine is on the bottom self and top shelf is where I keep all my ribbons at.

This cart I use for a cutting station and keep 12 X 12 paper.  In the drawers I keep my ink refills, embossing folders and bling stuff.

This cart is full of scrap paper.   I am trying to use it but it keeps getting fuller where I can't open the drawers without it coming off the tracks.  It's because I make treat boxes for my grandson's class for all the holidays that it fills up so fast.

My file cabnet is where I keep all my 8.5 X 11 papers color coded.

Thank You for stoping by and please come back anytime.  You are alway's welcome here.

Fishing Trip On A Sunday

This picture was taken at Henry Hegg Lake in Oregon.
We were out on our boat fishing by the bouyes when I took these pictures.

The picture above is at the other end of the lake.

We couldn't catch a fish for the life of us the last two times.

The fish just like teasing me.

I was telling my husband the fish was jumping behind us and he started laughing

and told me it was on my pole and to reel it up.

I was too busy looking at the view to watch my pole.  But had fun.

Shoe Box

I got this basic shoe box pattern off of paper, plate, and plane.  But I altered it.  The toe was made from circle's, I changed it to round scallop and rimed it down.  I also added the ankle band to the box. I used my cricut to cut it out. This Box was done for JUGS 134 Challenge.

Easter Treats

Side View

I made 60 of these thinking it wouldn't take long.  Wrong again.  Maybe if I try something that looks like it will take a long time to do, it will turn out to be fast.  One can only dream,

St. Patty's Hat

After having brain freeze for a month, I woke up this morning with a idea of using a hat.  I was going to use some circle's and rectangles to make the hat, but A Child's First Year jumped at at me when I got onto my Gypsy and there it was staring me in the face.  Used the Gypsy to weld the hat together and cut out the other pieces.  Used all scrap paper,( band was velvet paper), Sissix  embossing folder and one bling.  Used my computer for the saying and Nestabilitie for cutting and embossing it. Added 3 peppermint patties to the bag.  And there you have 1 treat bag.

St. Patrick's Day Treat Bag

I was doing something simple for St. Patrick's Day treat bags for my grandson's class.  I was surfing the Internet for ideas and came across this treat topper by  It was a free download.  I added a little glitter pen to the hat, banner and heart.  I put 8 to a page.  I used a texture white paper from Wal-Mart.  I put 3 Peppermint Patties in each bag.  .
I have found if I have a brain freeze and can't come up with something really cute, I can count on all you really crafty ladies out there to come up with something,  And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the effort you put into your craft.

Heart Challenge's

I did these for my grandson's class.  They hold to chocolate candies.
1.  Pink paper was from Craft Wharehouse
2.  Script stamp from Stamp'in Up
3.  Hearts using my cricut.
4.  Flower punch from Stamp'in Up
5.  Tag punch from Stamp'in Up
6.  Heart band using my cricut imagine using a Martha Stewart Cartridge.
(It had 3 heart's together so I flipped every other one and then welded them together).
I ran it threw a embossing folder and then used a glitter pen on every polka dots.

I did this all in one box for my daughter office and some of my husband clients.

Just Us Girls

I took apart another card and used all scraps for this card.   Used some velvet card stock and glitter paper that was in my left over scraps cart. I don't know about the rest of you but I have saved so many scraps the carts that I keep them in no longer will open.  So this year I'm trying to use my scraps up if possible.  Most of my scraps come from treat boxes that I do for every holiday for my grandson's class, so there is alot of scraps.

I used a Christmas Card I received from my mother and re purposed it.  I was going to put it on Just Us Girls but my computer decided to crash at that time.  Better late than never,  Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas
